Does drinking mineral water really give you beautiful skin?

Why is drinking water important?

Drinking water is important for your body. Drink plenty of clean water. It is actually very simple; If you don't drink enough or if you don't drink at all, you will dry out. Our body consists largely of water, and at the same time, we also lose a lot of fluid every day, by going to the toilet and of course because you perspire. That moisture must therefore be supplemented continuously, to prevent your body from becoming dehydrated. Furthermore, moisture regulates your body temperature, so that you do not get overheated (you will start sweating), but water also transports nutrients in your body and waste to the outside. We all know the feeling of thirst. In fact, that is already a signal from your body that it needs moisture. If you ignore that thirst, your body will eventually "struggle" and you may experience a dry mouth, tiredness and even dizziness. Why you must drink water when getting up in the morning.

How much water with minerals do you have to drink?

On average, as an adult, you should receive 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day from your mineral water cooler from Prestige Water. More water than that is in fact not necessary, barring exceptions, for example at extremely high temperatures or when you (extremely) perspire a lot, during exercise for example. Even when you are sick and lose a lot of fluid due to diarrhea, it is essential to replenish that loss. But in fact, everything that the word "too" stands for is not recommended. There is such a thing as drinking too much water. Your kidneys can only handle a certain amount of water. If you drink (much) too much water in succession, water poisoning can even occur. Is it bad to drink water while eating?

Do you get better skin from drinking water with minerals?

Perhaps one of the greatest myths in the field of skin care; is "Drinking water gives you better skin." But is that really true? In fact not. Water passes through the body too quickly to really have an effect on how your skin looks. Moisture deficiencies in your skin (so dehydrated skin) you simply cannot supplement by drinking a lot of water. The same myth is that you can make up for the water shortages by lying in a bath with water. Moreover; your skin will only dry out. It is also not true that wrinkles or pimples will disappear or decrease if you drink (a lot of) water. Still, I think you can put the story in such a way that drinking water has a beneficial effect on your skin. Drink plenty of water, and give the body what it needs. Take the following example; suppose you would replace all your sweetened drinks with water, and then you will eventually see the effect of this. We all know that sugar not only has a negative impact on your weight but certainly also on your skin! So it is not by definition that you get better skin from drinking water yourself, but in this case, water can help you get better skin because you leave something else behind. Also, make sure that you continue to drink water because drinking too little will definitely have a negative impact on your skin! Your skin can literally dehydrate water if too little moisture enters.
