Everyone knows that a healthy body is important. Of course, exercising is healthy for your body, but in addition to exercising, there are even more simple measures you can take to ensure that your body will be in optimum condition.

Drink lots of water

Why filter tapwater? 50-75% of our body consists of water, this is what our body needs, especially during the warm summer months. There are many reasons why our bodies depend on water, chemical and metabolic reactions, transporting nutrients, regulating your body temperature and removing waste from our system. Alkaline water is the nature of water. We also lose moisture by sweating and exhaling. Especially during the warm summer months, it is important to drink enough. Men need about 3 litres of water per day, women need 2.2 litres of water per day. Water with minerals from a Brisbane floor standing water cooler.

Make sure you sleep enough

The temperature goes up as soon as it is longer light. This can play a major role in our sleep rhythm because we find it harder to fall asleep and therefore recover more slowly, physically and mentally. Sleeping well ensures the fitness and has an effect on our performance. It has been said that adults need between 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Studies have shown us that everything more or less than these hours can cause someone to lose weight less quickly. How do I get more energy?

Never skip your breakfast

Many people believe that by skipping breakfast they lose weight faster. This is anything but true. When we sleep, our bodies are still active in processing the food that we have consumed during the day. The breakfast ensures that we get new fuel for the coming day. If we skip this, our metabolism will be delayed, and we will burn fewer calories. This can then again lead to arriving because you eat more later in the day. Great tasting water from your own Brisbane floorstanding water cooler.

Grab your vitamins

We have heard it all our lives and this is not without reason of course. Recent research shows that only 1 in 7 people eat 5 pieces of fruit or vegetables per day. Greenery and fruit are great sources of vitamins and minerals. In addition, they ensure healthy digestion. More importantly, the risk of obesity from eating fruits and vegetables is considerably reduced. Do you think this is too much? Then make a juice from, for example, 3 apples, 3 pears and a hand of spinach. Use a juice extractor for this. With this, you pack your vitamins in 1 glass per day. Of course, you can also vary this with other vegetables and fruits.

Make sure you eat enough

When it gets warmer this has an effect on our appetite, this decreases as soon as the temperature rises. Eating less causes a slower metabolism, which in turn can lead to weight gain. This is of course far from ideal if you are trying to slim down for the summer. Despite the warm weather, it is therefore important that you get the recommended amount of calories.

Watch out with alcohol

With a rising temperature, we naturally go for a nice BBQ and this naturally includes the necessary alcohol. Be sure to eat something before you start drinking so that you have a somewhat fuller feeling you drink less. We quickly forget that alcohol contains a huge amount of calories and of course drinking is faster than eating. Drink more water and less alcohol. Eat as few sugars as possible

5 Helpful tips for losing weight by drinking water. A lot of sugar is not only bad for your weight but can also lead to heart disease. Therefore, make sure that while drinking your coffee or tea you limit the number of scoops to the minimum.

Avoid temptations

Don't be tempted by bad and unhealthy snacks to satisfy your hunger, take a piece of fruit or drink water. Also, make sure you eat enough during your eating moments; this will prevent you from getting hungry again soon after eating.

Change of transport

Is the weather nice? Grab a bike or go for a walk instead of the car. Cycling and walking take a little longer, but it keeps you moving and keeps you in shape.

Set goals for yourself

Give yourself goals to work towards. When the weather is nice you can quickly lose focus. It is wonderful to relax and sunbathe in the garden, but this can, in turn, lead to weight gain, and this is a shame. Instead, go for a nice walk in the sun, also delicious and a lot healthier. The most important step is to drink salt water from a Brisbane Floor Standing Water Cooler

Frankly, that's not right. Because the most important step on the way to a healthier lifestyle (and therefore the first step) is drinking salt water. In other words, water with minerals. That is salt water; minerals dissolved in water. Dissolve a small amount of Himalayan salt or Celtic Sea salt in a glass of water and you already have a glass of goodness for your body. You still wonder if that isn't really dirty, right? And you still wonder why on earth this is necessary, right? In any case, these were the questions I asked when I was advised to drink "saltwater". I'll explain. What does drinking 2 litres of water your day with your body?

First of all, it doesn't taste very dirty. It also does not taste salty. If that is the case, then you have used too much salt in your water. It does taste different than just tap water. If I now only drink water from the tap, without any minerals in it (because that is salt, a lot of minerals together) then I think that water will only taste "flat". Water supplemented with minerals makes the water "fuller" in taste. And again, if it tastes salty, you use too much.

Why do we need salt water?

Then why do we need that? You need water for your body cells. Healthy drink water from your own Brisbane floor standing water cooler. Water is essential for all your body cells. That water also wants to get into your cells so that it can do its work there. To get into your body cells, water needs minerals. This is how your body is built. That's how it works. Without these minerals, the water will not enter your body cells and eventually, you will end up in a "dehydration" state. Sounds crazy, dehydration? We have so much drink around us; we turn on the tap and have running water, we make tea and coffee, drink soft drinks, dairy, etc., and yet we dry out. How is that possible?

Most people know about alcohol and coffee that water draws from your body. That is also one of the reasons that after an evening drinking wine with friends or sagging in the pub the next day you are so thirsty. Mineral and alkaline drinking water from a Brisbane floor standing water cooler. Bottled water contains fewer minerals than tap water.

It is virtually unknown that you can dry out despite (full) drinking water. Water is an essential nutrient.

In the old days ...

In the past (read: in primal times) we drank water from the river. This water was full of minerals from the soil. Nowadays our water comes from the tap and it hardly contains any minerals. Our bodies have hardly changed since the primeval times, but our environment has changed enormously in the last 100 years. For example, the soil has become poorer in minerals and our water comes from the tap. However, our body still needs minerals for water to be absorbed into our body cells. This is a process that has remained unchanged since prehistoric times.

We all know that water is essential for our body, it is not for nothing that our body consists of water. Drink plenty of water from your Brisbane floor standing water cooler. If you realize that our body still functions like when we were cavemen, then it makes sense that we need water with minerals (and not soft drinks, dairy, energy drinks, alcohol, etc.).

Minerals like "secret code", that sounds exciting!

Okay, so water with minerals. So that the water can "enter" your body cells. The minerals in water are a kind of "secret code" that let the water enter your body cells. And then? Is that the only task for minerals? No! That would be very simple and our body is much more ingenious. These minerals all have different tasks within the cell. Minerals are involved in many processes; from reading our DNA to making hormones and other messenger substances such as neurotransmitters.

Without these minerals, these processes fail. That gives a form of stress to your body. Stress is not always "in your head." Stress can also mean that your body is drying out because it has a mineral deficiency. There you get complaints.

Starting to drink salt water is then a very good first step in resolving your symptoms. And a super nice step to hydrate your body in the right way.

How do you do that?

How do you do that? Buy a bag of Himalayan salt or Celtic Sea salt (for sale at the organic / EKO stores and perhaps the supermarket in your area already sells it). Dissolve 1/4 to a maximum of 1/2 teaspoon of this unrefined sea salt in one litre of water. Drink this salty water, which does not taste salty, during the day. Your body will be very grateful for it.

Ideally, you drink more than a litre of this water from your Brisbane floor standing water cooler in a day. Calculate 30 millilitres of water per kilo of body weight. Do you weigh 70 kilos? Then you drink 2.1 litres. Build this up. For example, you can agree with yourself that you drink a glass more every 1-2 days than the day before. So break your "water record" every time.

How much water do you have to drink per day?

The Society for Nutrition recommends that adults drink a minimum of one and a half litres of water per day. Other studies recommend between two and three litres of water a day. In extreme heat or cold, as well as illnesses such as fever, vomiting and diarrhea, the body needs a lot of fluids. Even with physical exertion such as sports or physical work, you must make sure that you drink enough water. You can determine how much you should really drink with a simple rule of thumb:

Kilograms of body weight x 35 ml of water = recommended amount to drink per day
