Losing weight by drinking water from your water cooler Noosa Heads
Calculate how much water you should drink. I drink around 2 litres of water a day myself. Furthermore, I only occasionally drink green tea, white tea or herbal tea. No coffee, never soft drinks and rarely alcohol. When I drink enough I feel it in my energy and I also see it on my skin. When I drink very little due to circumstances a day, I feel that I am particularly troubled by mild headaches. I feel fine with my drinking schedule and I always try to convince people to move away from soft drinks and switch to water. I have been doing that for years, so I do not miss soft drinks anymore, but I notice that it remains difficult for many of my friends and acquaintances. One thing that usually helps to lose weight, they drink water all day long. And so I thought of putting a number of dots together on why water can help with weight loss.
Water drinking and losing weight
You burn more calories.
It is indeed not a myth. Several studies have already shown that drinking water can help to burn more calories. Even if you do nothing, your body burns calories. That is called Resting Energy Expenditure (REE). This REE rises to 30% after you have drunk water and can last up to an hour. In the hour after you have drunk a glass of water you burn 30% more calories. 7 Ways to influence your energy intake.
Drinking water before eating reduces hunger.
This is especially true for adult people and people of an older age. A study showed that drinking water before a meal at 12 weeks can result in a weight loss of 2 kilograms. That does not seem so much but this is without other changes, just drinking water for the food. In that respect, it is therefore spectacular. In obese patients, more than 40% of extra weight was lost by drinking water before meals. Always leave 20 minutes between drinking your water and your meal, it can interfere with your digestion.
Less recovery.
People who mainly drink water consume up to 10% fewer calories than people who drink soft drinks. In addition, many soft drinks in themselves are already richer in calories. Flue and drinking water. Anti-colds and drinking water. Several studies have also shown that children who drink more water are less likely to be obese. Have you already tried to lose weight by drinking more water?
