Healthy Drink: Fresh Ginger Tea and water from a water cooler Brendale

Fresh mint tea has been known in the Netherlands for years. Many cafés and restaurants have it on the menu. Recently I have seen more and more fresh ginger tea. I became curious, which is strange because I don't really like ginger at all. When my mother chose ginger tea on a terrace, I couldn't contain my curiosity. I took a sip ... On the way home I immediately bought a piece of ginger at the supermarket, I love it! Tips to drink more water.

How do you make ginger tea?

It is actually super simple, you cut a few pieces of the ginger root and put them in water that you just boiled with the kettle. Let it pull and Kees is ready! I usually peel the ginger root for a while, because then more flavour comes from the pieces. In the end, fewer small pieces float in my tea. I usually add about 3 small slices of ginger, otherwise, it will become too strong for me. Healthy drink water after filtration from a water cooler Brendale.

You can also very well add variation to your ginger tea. I give three ideas below:

  •     Add a slice of lemon and a teaspoon of honey to your ginger tea. I recommend not to do this too often because honey is actually the same as sugar for your body. If you are sick or unwell, this is a great combination! Instead of lemon, you can also go for two stems of lemongrass. Instead of honey, you can also add sweetness to your tea (not too often).
  •     Just make your favourite tea with a bag or with loose tea and put some ginger in it. This makes the taste a little less specific.
  •     Put some licorice or star anise in your ginger tea for a unique taste.

The taste

Ginger has a very specific, spicy taste. I like spicy tea, I also really like to drink Chai tea. So it's perfect for me, just too strong ginger tea is really a bit too much for me. If you swallow the tea, you feel it tickle your throat a little, Hot and cold water from a water cooler Brendale. Tap water vs filtered water. I somehow love that feeling! I never really love ginger, but I really started to appreciate this in a short time!

Is ginger healthy?

A lot of healthy properties are given to ginger. In some sources, it is even called a medicine. Below are some things that are claimed:

  •     It would help the metabolism because it stimulates the production of saliva.
  •     Ginger has a warming effect because it stimulates the circulation in your body.
  •     It helps to combat nausea, so it's perfect for when you're sick!
  •     It would reduce a bloated feeling, although I can also imagine that it stimulates the intestines by the spiciness of the ginger.
  •     People with headaches and migraine can have a bath. Your skin and drinking water.
  •     It helps reduce inflammation
  •     Ginger would even have a beneficial effect on heart disease and various forms of cancer.
I will never see these attributes as absolute truth. First of all, it will differ greatly per person, such as the effect on the intestines. Secondly, for some positive effects, you will have to consume large amounts of ginger. Thirdly, not everything is very well scientifically substantiated. I just advise you to drink this tea because you like it! You can of course give it a try if you have one of the above complaints because if it doesn't bathe it won't harm! Store ginger

I keep my piece of ginger root in a plastic bag in the fridge. He stays good for at least two weeks in this way. Even lying on the counter he stays good with me for days. You can also freeze small pieces, then they will keep them for a very long time.

For me, fresh ginger tea is just a delicious variation of all the other tea I drink! I really love the unique taste and the spiciness. I prefer to drink it pure, so only water and ginger. Sometimes I add sweetness to my tea or some honey for a change.

Drinking alkaline water with minerals from a benchtop or floor standing water is healthy

Can you drink too much water?

Don't worry, too much water is hardly possible. Only when enormous amounts of water are consumed in a very short time is this a risky burden for the organism. The kidneys are able to excrete approximately one litre of fluid every hour.

Water, a super drink

The Australian Society for Nutrition considers a daily amount of up to ten litres of water (distributed throughout the day!) to be harmless for healthy people, even with long-term consumption - a quota that very few people will be able to manage.
