Well, what can you choose the best? Cold water drinking. Drinks, juices and soft drinks from the supermarket are usually far from healthy. Soft drinks, such as cola and sinsas, for example, consist mainly of water and sugar with a taste. Fruit juice often seems a bit healthier, but (like soda) is sugar water. Fruit-sugar-water or, but the body makes no distinction. Kilo calories in soft drinks and fruit juices. Sugar delivers 4 kilo calories per gram. Most soft drinks and fruit juices therefore deliver 40 kilo calories per 100 ml! Bottled water, Tap water or Filtered water.
Drink more water in hot weather. Okay, soft drinks and fruit juices supply you with fluid, and a lot of energy in the form of sugar. But do they deliver something else? Fruit juices sometimes deliver some (added) vitamins, but otherwise .... No satiety and no stomach filling. For that reason I am right for eating fruit instead of drinking in the form of juices and smoothies. The light variants contain less or no sugar, to obtain a sweet taste sweeteners are used.
Some juices look very healthy on the basis of the packaging, but if you look critically it is disappointing. For example, this juice from Healthy People. On the front is a nice picture of 'super fruit' blueberry and raspberry, while the ingredient list tells us that the juice is made from fruit concentrate, and the main ingredient is grape juice. This juice delivers 14 grams of sugar (= 3 sugar cubes) and 54 kcal per 100 ml! To make something of it, the manufacturers have added vitamin C & E.
Fruit juice and soft drinks are therefore not very high on my list. But what is left? An alternative with less / no sugar (is this an open door? :)) such as water, tea and coffee without sugar, or vegetable juice. I regularly hear people say that it is boring, and that it is boring. Would that be because we are so used to drinking juices, limos and fresh? Can food influence your sleep. You can see the shelves in the supermarket. Do you want some variety? Then make your own healthy drink: Flavored water, infused water or water with a taste! No time? For a quick fix you can dilute fruit juices with water and make your own 50/50. That saves you half sugar right away.
Fill the one (long) drinking glass for 1/3 with fruit and herbs; Then use a muddler or a ladle to "catch" it and mix the flavors. Add water (possibly with bubbles) and stir gently.
