People who know me well know that I drink too little in a day. Why? No idea, I just do not feel the need to drink ... It often happens that I only drink 1 or 2 glasses a day and that is of course far too little. Of those good New Year's intentions, not much has arrived yet, but as of today, I change that: I'm going to drink more water! Is water healthy?
Water, because 1.5 litres of soft drinks a day is not only unhealthy, it is also bad for the teeth. That is not to say that I will not drink soft drinks anymore, but I will only do this at dinner, or when I am in a cafeé.
1: Tasty - Not Tasty
Filtered water or bottled water. Not all water tastes the same, that is why there are so many different types. So it is a good idea to go to the supermarket and buy different brands. This way you can search for the water that you like best.
Because drinking something you do not like makes it so difficult to achieve your goal.
2: Different formats
Visualization helps you achieve your goal. There are different sizes of water bottles: 33cl, 50cl, 1L, 1.5L, and 2L.
Do not set the bar too high and do not immediately go for 2L per day, but work towards it. Once it is easy to empty your bottle, you can go to a larger size.
Always keep the bottle in sight, so that you know how much you have to drink that day. Cold or hot drinks in warm weather?
3: Started early, is half won
During your night's sleep, you have not gotten anything from moisture and even though you still do not feel thirsty, your body craves water! As soon as you get up you can best drink a glass of water or take the first sips of your bottle.
Therefore, before bedtime put your bottle of water ready (with possibly a glass) on your night cupboard, so you can start the day right away.
4: A glass for every meal
If you make a habit of drinking a glass of water for every meal, then you have already drunk 3 glasses of water. Children and drinking water.
Most glasses have a capacity of about 25-30cl, but of course, you do not fill your glass to the edge. We assume that you pour about 20cl into your glass.
So if you drink a glass of water for every meal, you have just drunk more than half a litre in one day!
5: A nice taste
Is the above tips still too difficult to drink a lot of water? Then you may have to add a healthy taste. Add fresh fruit to your water, so it gets a tastier taste and it looks a bit like your soda is drinking. Slices of lime, lemon and orange or mint leaves in your water, to give it a nice and fresh taste.
