Warm water with lemon juice, detox tip

These weeks I am in the middle of a detox, and you may have noticed that I start almost every morning with a glass of warm water with lemon. So I'm going to tell you more about this.

Recipe hot water with lemon (detox tip):

  •      Fill a large glass (250 - 350 ml) with warm water.
  •     To get out of body temperature I often use half a glass of boiled water, and fill in the other half with ice-cold water from the tap. Then you also have the ideal temperature to be able to drink it immediately.
  •     Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add it to the hot water.
  •     You can also add some fresh ginger or cayenne pepper for more flavour and even more vitamins and minerals.
  •     Stir well, and drink immediately (with a straw).
  •     Then wait half an hour before you have something to eat.
  •     Tip: because you only use half a lemon, place the other half with the cutting edge down in a bowl, and put it in the fridge. Then you can squeeze it out the next morning and it is not even dehydrated yet.
