Recipe: tea with ginger, fennel, mint and lemon. Homemade iced tea with ginger, mint and lemon without sugar

Anyone who knows me knows that I am totally obsessed with tea. Use the hot water tap from the floor standing water cooler in Cairns. How do you know if you are drinking enough water? I don't have a shelf, but two bars are full and tea shopping is my therapy. Despite my rather extensive collection, there are times when none of those teas appeals to me. Actually the equivalent of a crowded wardrobe and still not finding anything to do (that sometimes happens to me too). So I just create something myself ... and this tea recipe is a big win. And an extra bonus: it is the perfect tea for blow-up belly or stomach cramps. Ginger, mint and fennel are ideal for your digestion and the lemon provides extra punch and freshness. So move about Fit Tea, because my "tummy tea" is the real deal. Soft drinks, up to 7 cubes of sugar. Great tasting water made from your own tap with floor standing water coolers Cairns.

What do you need for this digestive tea?

Ingredients for 1.2 litres

  •     Large teapot
  •     Tea filter that fits in a teapot or mug (or teapot with filter) or tea filter bags
  •     Fresh ginger (+/- 4 cm)
  •     20 leaves of fresh mint
  •     2 teaspoons fennel seeds or fennel tea bag
  •     Lemon, Healthy drinks instead of water
  •     Liquid stevia (optional) - it does not taste bitter

How do you make the tea?

  •     Peel the ginger and grate (or cut it into small pieces)
  •     Crush the fennel seeds * in a herb pestle or put them in a plastic bag and crush them with a heavy pot (you can also grind in a herb chopper). If you don't like aniseed flavour, just take ½ tablespoon of fennel seeds
  •     Wash the mint leaves and shred them a bit, use water from the floor standing water cooler in Cairns
  •     Wash and grate one lemon (zest)
  •     Place all ingredients in the tea filter and pour boiling water over it. You can also add some flavoured green tea (this is perfect) for even more taste sensation
  •     Allow to stand for 20 minutes and then remove the tea filter
  •     Optionally add stevia to taste

How do you make this tea even better?

I like this tea to drink hot but as iced tea: ooooh sweet baby Jesus ... twice as tasty! The ideal, healthy thirst quencher that you can take anywhere in a bottle or drinking cup. Healthy drinking water with minerals from a floor standing water cooler in Cairns. Lose weight by drinking water.
  •     Let the tea cool completely
  •     Place the tea all night (or at least 4 hours) in the fridge with a lid over
  •     Pour the cold tea into a large glass (or into your drinking cup)
  •     Add fresh mint leaves and slices of lemon or lime
  •     Make the tea extra sweet with stevia (optional of course)
  •     Throw in (crushed) ice cubes that you can possibly make with lemon and/or lime juice. Great tasting water from a floor standing water cooler Cairns.

Healthy drinking water with minerals from a floor standing water cooler Cairns

Compared to eating, for many of us, there are no specific times for drinking. Rather, a sip is often taken in between. But why should we consciously pay attention to our fluid intake?

Water is essential for us humans. About half of our body is made up of water. But we give some of it away throughout the day. What surprises many is that we lose fluid through the air we breathe, but also through our kidneys, urine and skin. Especially on hot summer days, significantly more liquid can be sweated out than when it is colder outside. We have to compensate for the loss of water.

Because water has different functions in the body: it regulates our body temperature, ensures the transport of nutrients and is part of the cells. Water is the "all-rounder" so to speak and is involved in all processes in the body. We normally need about 1.5 litres per day. We even need to drink more when we are ill, when we are very active or when it is hot.

Why is Filtered Water so Important?
