Many of us have known someone to ask, at one time or another, "why is water good for you?" It is a reasonable question. We grow up being told to drink at least eight glasses of water every day and that if there was no water there would be no life. One of the first questions we are asked when we aren't feeling well is "are you drinking enough water?" Water being good for us is pretty much taken for granted. 8. Water can help control your appetite, giving you a feeling of fullness, which helps to keep you from over eating.
