Healthy drinks instead of water

Drink more than only water

We often get the question, I want to drink more, but what can I drink besides water that is also healthy? We all know that drinking enough is healthy for our bodies. In practice, we measure in almost every body composition: weight, body fat, muscle mass, moisture content. However, many people have too little fluid in the body. We therefore recommend: drink more! The best you can drink water from your own tap that is filtered by a good water filtration. Filtered water from Prestige Water. Everyone wants to drink more, but water is so boring, right? We would still like flavored waters. But there is not almost everywhere sugar and / or sweeteners in? Having a full glass of water all the time.

Sugar and sweeteners

If you want to watch your body weight than products based on sweeteners is better than regular sugar. It is even better to avoid both sweeteners like regular sugar. Increasingly, you can use the natural sweetener stevia. This sweetener is taken from the plant Stevia rebaudiana. Stevia is a 100% natural sweetener in contrast to aspartame and saccharin, which are artificial sweeteners. So give preference to natural sweeteners such as stevia.

Recommendations sugar

The new World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines advise since March 2015 for both adults and children to reduce the daily intake of free sugars up to 10% of the total energy intake. Health improvement is even advised to remain below 5%, this means up to 25 grams of sugar per day. (All sugars included except the natural sugars in fruit, vegetables and dairy). So look at your sugar intake (cookie, candy, ketchup, salad, soft drinks, etc). Better health with Prestige Water.

Juice packs

In most packs and bottles of (soft) drinks that are for sale is added sugar. If it says "no added sugar" than there is often still sugar. Not only unhealthy for us, but especially for our children. Examples of drinks with and without added sugar, ranging in amounts of sugar cubes:

Grape juice: Ingredients: Red grape juice, per 250 ml glass you or your child get 40 natural fruit sugars inside (still 10 "natural" sugar cubes)

Tropical fruit: Ingredients: water, 30% milk permeate, sugar, 7.5% fruit juice from concentrated juice (apple, passion fruit 0.5%, 0.5% pineapple), cream, acid (citric acid), flavor, stabilizer (pectin), color, vitamin C. Per glass of 250 ml you get 30 grams of sugar (7.5 cubes).

100% pure juice: From concentrate juice. Apple juice, 7 Apples, contains only naturally occurring sugars. Per glass of 250 ml you get 26 gram of sugars inside (6.5 "natural" sugar cubes).

Tropical fruit juice, 30% less sugar: Ingredients: Water, liquid milk solids, 40% fruit juice from concentrated juice 6%, (apple, pineapple 0.8%, passion fruit 0.3%), sugar, cream with a fat content of 35%, stabilizer pectin, acid (citric acid), flavoring, coloring, vitamin C. Per glass of 250 ml you will get 20 grams of sugar (5 sugar cubes).
