Stop drinking soda - Stop sugar

Water with mint and lemon

Add some mint and lemon to your water for a refreshing flavor. Almost everyone knows that sugar (refined sugar) is not as healthy. You can get fat and it is not good for your teeth anyway. Lemon water healthy and delicious.

Sugar is poison

Less well known is that sugar is addictive, you get tired of it, it can suppress your immune system, gives you digestive problems, can contribute to eczema, headaches, can cause your outdated skin, can trigger seizures, hormonal disorders and can cause self depression. Yes, I can add more to the list. It is increasingly argued that sugar is actually poison. It is also said that it would be likely to be banned introduced as sugar now (with the knowledge of today) for health threatening reasons. On many products nowadays you find added sugar. I try to remove refined sugar from my diet as much as possible. A very good first step for anyone who wants to quit sugar in any case, stop drinking soda. That coke contains sugar, 6 - 7 cubes per glass, most people know. Did you also know that apple juice contain 4 cubes per glass? The most misleading drinks I find are Vifit and Vitamin Water. In both state the "I choose consciously" logo but that is not saying much. With the amount of sugar is not taken into account in any case when awarding this label. Vifit is a "natural" dairy drink and therefore supposedly healthy, but also contains about five cubes of sugar per glass. Vitamin Water is a natural mineral water with no artificial flavors, colors or flavorings. The vitamins do not come from vegetables or fruit, but they are added, and the second ingredient that is stated is sugar on the label. Healthy eating practices. Actually, it is just sugar water. A bottle contains about 7 sugar cubes. But then the diet sodas you think are healthy, but this is not. Commonly used sweeteners are aspartame, sucralose and saccharin. Research has shown that these substances can damage your kidneys, increases the risk of heart attack, and makes for an unstable blood sugar. In addition, aspartame can have more than 90 side effects such as headaches, lack of concentration, chronic fatigue, bloating and so much more.

What can I drink?

But what can I drink? The best answer is simple: water that is filtered. Tap water is not healthy anymore, therefore filter. Besides lots of sugar with aforementioned side effects it contains simply NO calories. Benefits of drinking water are abundant, a few I mention here: it gives you energy, reduces the risk of coronary heart disease (at least 5 glasses per day) and eliminates hunger (which is often the way, actually confused with thirsts). Your body needs sufficient water to function properly and will also fought in other drinks and your food but drink water immediately makes adequate fluid intake easier. In addition, it is also very cheep. When you find water boring you can add some slices of lemon or orange for flavor. What is also very nice to create is a water with mint or basil. The water will light the taste, and is really refreshing. Drink more green tea, this has the added advantage that it also has a slightly stimulating effect on digestion. Also homemade vegetable juices are a healthy and delicious choice. Do not drink soda in the beginning, and it may be equally difficult to switch. But at some point you do not want anything else and it is good anytime, easy something to drink.
